One historical point of interest regarding Ramsey, is that the iron hulled sailing ship - 'Star of India' - was built here in 1863. She has been fully restored and is now actively sailing as the "...oldest active ship of any kind in the world...". Click on the link for the San Diego Maritime Museum on the right for more information and an excellent documentary about the 'Star of India'.
